We are very pleased, and to some great measure relieved, that the Inshaw Rifle is now installed in a proper museum-quality case on permanent loan to the Chicopee Public Library. Stop by the local history room to see it yourself. We were most gratified to have reporters from the Chicopee Register, ChicopeeTV, and WWLP-Channel 22 with us that evening. Here are a couple links to the television coverage:

The funds for purchasing this case came in part from the sale of our book, Richard B. Inshaw: A Craftsman’s Life and Work in Chicopee, Massachusetts and the sponsor ads that appear in the book, but the chief source of funding came from a generous grant from the American Society of Arms Collectors. We thank them most sincerely for helping us achieve this goal.
